Kallarayan is a high Andean community, with a privileged position because of the farm the route of the Incas. Taray district belongs to the Province of Calca and Department of Cusco. Located to the north - east of the city of the imperial city. It has an altitude between 3700 to 4000.
To reach the community kallarayan is part of the city of Cusco - the route Cusco-Sacred Valley-Pisac. It is reached by paved road to the village of Ccorao from there access to community Kallarayan is done in 2 ways:
From the village of Ccorao through a winding road up and arrive in approximately 40 minutes.
Since the end of the village of Ccorao by the road along the River Ccallarayan and the creek of the same name for a horseshoe upward path, the hike takes about 2 hours.
The community has a length of more than 50 years. The experiential tourism receiving capacity is approx. 40 tourists. There is capacity for 15 people and 6 family houses for wealthy tourists.
