Kallarayan is a high Andean community, with a privileged position because of the farm the route of the Incas. Taray district belongs to the Province of Calca and Department of Cusco. Located to the north - east of the city of the imperial city. It has an altitude between 3700 to 4000.
To reach the community kallarayan is part of the city of Cusco - the route Cusco-Sacred Valley-Pisac. It is reached by paved road to the village of Ccorao from there access to community Kallarayan is done in 2 ways:
Track bodywork: From the village of Ccorao through a winding road up and arrive in approximately 40 minutes.
Inca Trail: Since the end of the village of Ccorao by the road along the River Ccallarayan and the creek of the same name for a horseshoe upward path, the hike takes about 2 hours.
The community has a length of more than 50 years. The experiential tourism receiving capacity is approx. 40 tourists. There is capacity for 15 people and 6 family houses for wealthy tourists.
