CUSCO

This tour you will discover beauty and the magic of Cusco city. We will go to the Sun's Temple (Koricancha) and the Cusco's Cathedral during the visit, we will also visit the main 4 archeological complexes that are located around the City like Qenqo, Puca pucara, Tambomachay and Sacsayhuamán's impressive fortress.

KORICANCHA

The sun's temple Indicates Golden yard. In the Inca times, Koricancha was covered with gold. The walls of the temples were covered with 700 solid- gold plates of 2 Kg heavy each one.

CATEDRAL DEL CUSCO

Was build at the Suntur Wasi place in 1539 at the today place of the Triumph church , at a later time between the 1560 and 1664 years it was ordered to build a new Cathedral at the Kiswar Kancha or Inca Wiraqocha palace, its design is conformed by a Latin cross plant, its front building is in renaissance style and contrasts with the baroque and the plateresque, of majestic insides.

QENQO

Located at three kilometers of the city, apparently it was a ceremonial center. Qenqo means maze or zigzag. It possess an amphitheater with 19 vaulted niches and an entrance in the shape of maze toward the subterranean galleries exists. The top part possesses canals where rituals and tilled figures come true.

PUCAPUCARA

It is located at 6 Km of Cusco's city, the name means strong or red lookout post. It is located at an elevation where is easy to see the road to the , Antisuyo or jungle region of the Tahuantinsuyo. it used to be a control post it was also an administrative and military center.

TAMBOMACHAY

Important center of cult and adoration to water. This place,is located seven kilometers far of Cusco's city, and it is composed of walls, windows and water canals that end up in a trapezoidal spring from where we can see to emit crystalline water. it is at 3,700 m.a.s.l.. and it is more known as the Inca's Restrooms.

SACSAYHUAMAN

The Incas accomplished his rites and sacred parties here.this fortress served also as refuge in emergency cases thanks to the imposing outer walls that protect the place . At the present time accomplishes in it one of the most traditional and representative parties of Cusco itself, the IntiRaymi or party of the sun.
